The Wi-Fi Card Saga

Imagine you're a girl with 31 names and counting who just wants to seed your torrents. But then. It happens. The W-Fi card that came baked into your laptop turns out to be a big pile of dookie and bluescreens the computer. Not only when you torrent, but when you do literally anything that requires an internet connection. So you write a blog post complaining about it and then buy an Intel card to replace it. And after a painstaking 5 minutes of sweaty palms, you successfully replace the old Wi-Fi card with one that actually functions.
I've had zero issues with the computer bluescreening when torrenting. I've seeded for 2 days straight and there is no sign of issues. If you see "MediaTek Wireless LAN Card" in device manager then replace it with an Intel one. Immediately.
I already fucked up 2025. 2026 will be my year though, trust.
