Hold on a second

Since most of the CDs I own have either gore or guro as the cover art, here's a button to blur and unblur any yucky content.

Media Collection

Sorted in alphabetical order, Blu-rays first, CDs last.

A Silent Voice. One of the best movies I have ever watched. I went through an emotional rollercoaster that had me feeling stronger emotions than Canadians during hockey and it made me cry for half an hour after it was over.

Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. This movie is fucking stupid and that's why I love it. The dynamic of the characters of Harold and Kumar made me laugh my ass off the whole way through.

Nichijou. A nice slice of life anime with equal parts cute and "huh". Generally weird situations mixed with a colourful cast of... pretty dumb characters make for just a good experience all around. The cover is also very cute and has a lot to see if you really look.

Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt. This anime revolves around two angels as they kill possessed bodily fluids in a quest to get back into heaven. Liberal use of "fuck" is found here and it's just... dumb. Which is my favourite kind of humour. I mean, I like this anime so much I have a Stocking Anarchy body pillow.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Let me tell you something. This anime is the best goddamn piece of art I have ever consumed and will ever consume. You will watch it. I am not giving you a choice. I will not elaborate further as spoiling such a masterpiece would be an utterly horrible thing to do.

Ok aside from that does anyone else think the designs for these Blu-rays are absolutely gorgeous? Like, they belong in the Louvre.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica movie trilogy. The first two movies just exist to recap the show but the third one, Rebellion, is a continuation of the series and god fucking damn it's another masterpiece just like the show. I just wish I could get my hands on a standard edition North American copy of Rebellion because I don't really care about the first two movies.

Space Patrol Luluco. It's cute, funny and has some action. Kind of has similar appeal to me that Nichijou does but Space Patrol Luluco is more driven by a plot and somehow manages to feel very cool. At least to me.

µ'Sick. This EP got me into this kind of music in the first place and was the first thing in this collection. The music itself is a wonderful balance of Love Live! references mixed in with death metal. It's probably my favourite album of all time. Also the cover art is gorgeous.

Ara Fell soundtrack selection. It's a good soundtrack and Ara Fell, the game, is a masterpiece. I hope they put Rise of the Third Power's soundtrack on CD because that would be an awesome compliment to this item. Aside from that, the soundtrack is pretty good.

Dehumanization Protocol. This album fucks. One of the best metal albums I've listened to. It's very aggressive but still falls into a really satisfying groove that feels great. I genuinely feel like I'm ready to kill god with my bare hands whenever a song from this album comes up on my playlist.

Goregy It's like having your eardrums set on fire I love it. It's perfect for when you want to listen to violence in music form. I just wish more artists like J existed because I really enjoy the sound of every single power tool at once. Also just look at the cover art. So cute. I wanna give her a headpat.

Hell Like Heaven. My favourite j-rock album out of all 2 j-rock albums I've listened to. When I discovered The Peggies I was like "holy shit this band is the best thing ever" and then I realized they're on hiatus probably forever and then thought this.

Otakuslam♡Animecide. Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship's first LP and holy shit you can feel it. Kiryu's vocals are absolutely breathtaking and Eien Parasites is one of my favourite songs. I also like Scream Bloody Gore (ゝω・´★). I'm a big fan of random shit that exists to juxtapose everything else.

Psychosadistic Design. This album is just good all around. Everything just sounds good and I feel very cool when listening to it. Also the intro is the icing on the cake.

Schoolgirl. This album was the first Schoolgirl Upon thy Corpse material I listened to and it is what got me into noisecore in the first place. It sounds very abrasive and the noise alone can give me goosebumps. I love everything about this album.

Tentacle Induced Intestinal Displacement. It's not as fast as the other stuff but it does hit hard. Diana's vocals give Cheerleader Concubine their unique flavour. Apparently Cheerleader Concubine is on hiatus. Probably forever. I must grieve. The artwork is also very nice.

The Divine Union of Serrated Flesh. The second item in my collection. My two favourite bands in one split. What do I have to say about it? It's some good music but nothing I especially love. However, the artwork is definitely something I love. It is so pretty

The Garden. This is the second The Peggies CD I got and it's almost as good as Hell Like Heaven. It's a great album and I love the song Contrast. It's just a nice, slow change of pace.

The Thrill of the Kill. To be completely honest... I have no idea why I bought this. I think it was mostly because I liked the art and well... the art is pretty nice to look at, I'm a big fan of it. Other than that the music is... fine. Foreskin Bracelet is the only one that made it into my Spotify playlist.
